Join us for the ARTWHERK! opening night on Wednesday, June 24'th 2009 from 6-8pm at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) were all the artists will be present and we also have some live performances, a live discussion panel and did I mention that MTV will be covering our event?!!
The ARTWHERK! Exhibition will be on display in the beautiful 'Walker Court' and will remain on display until Sunday, June 28'th 2009. We chose to have our opening night on 'free' night at the AGO to keep with our mandate of making our exhibitions accessible. If you can't make it down on Wednesday, regular AGO rates will apply.
Check out our 'artists' section on the website to see the amazing artists that will be exhibiting their work this year with us!

Testimonials
At moments of great enthusiasm it seems to me that no one in the world has ever made something this beautiful and important.
I think my best skill as an architect is the achievement of hand-to-eye coordination. I am able to transfer a sketch into a model into the building.
My contribution to the world is my ability to draw. I will draw as much as I can for as many people as I can for as long as I can. Drawing is still basically the same as it has been since prehistoric times. It brings together man and the world. It lives through magic.
We photographers deal in things which are continually vanishing, and when they have vanished there is no contrivance on earth which can make them come back again. We cannot develop and print a memory.
